Cultivating the fruits of the spirit

“A sensible person controls his temper, and his greatness is to forgive those who offend him.” Prov 19:11 NLT

We are in the habit of justifying our behavior and emotions based on the actions of others.

Many people commonly use phrases such as “I acted this way because he/she acted this way.” And so the drama is established in our lives, generating complicated and sick relationships.

Every time we react to the actions of others by replicating hatred, pride, or violence, we are distancing ourselves from the teachings of Christ. Begin to bear the fruit of the Spirit with its manifestations through daily communion with the Holy Spirit himself, such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Be great in God, love, and forgive.

Be sensible, and manage your emotions, God has given you all the tools for it!
