How are you known?

“And Jesus ended, saying: — But with whom can I compare the people of today? Who are they similar to?” Luke 7:31

We all want to “do well in the photo”, after all, we live in a world of images where what you look like is more important than what you are!

The question asked by Jesus centuries ago is still very current and provokes us to reflect on how people, ourselves, and God see us.

Keeping the image that we are friendly, attractive, winners, prosperous, etc… has become a burden for thousands of people who are daily in search of likes and followers to fill the lack of acceptance.

Jesus calls these “childish attitudes.”

Hey, you’re much better than that, after all, God made you in his image and likeness, that’s the best image anyone can have. You have unique God-given gifts, talents, and characteristics. From today, get rid of the burden of trying to appear to be with this or that, and seek in yourself the best image God has ever given you. Remember this truth: live as the BELOVED SON that I am!
