Lie Lenses

Have you ever stopped to think about the lies we believe throughout our lives and how this reflects on our daily actions and choices? It’s like an anchor attached to our feet, preventing us from moving forward. The good news is that there is a truth that frees us from all these sophistries.

How we view, God is as vital as understanding who we are in God, as it directly affects how we view everything else. A distorted view of God and who we are will lead us to false truths about everything and everyone around us.

And what does the word say about who He is: God is just (Acts 17:31), loving (Eph 2:4-5), true (John 14:6), Holy (1 John 1:5), God shows compassion (2Co 1:3), mercy (Rom 9:15), and grace (Rom 5:17). God judges sin (Ps 5:5), but He also offers forgiveness (Ps 130:4).

And about who God says you are: “In love, he predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good purpose of his will..” Eph. 5.1: “God created man in his image and likeness, in the image of God he created him.”

We continually fail to realize that what is causing irritation and confusion in our soul is not the people or the circumstances themselves but how we see the various situations that come our way; So, could the problem be a damaged lens? How are your lenses?
