Celebrating Our Youth

HUB

The HUB has been a powerful tool for connecting with the generation of young people and teenagers. It is an open space for spiritual growth and development, as well as experiences with God in an environment different from the traditional model of worship.

In weekly meetings, always in dynamic and contagious ways, these people come together through the HUB LINK (meetings in public environments); HUB CONNECT (meetings in houses); HUBZONE (themed services in the church) always discussing the Word of God in a contextualized way with the demands of youth.

We believe in this “new generation”, we believe that they are already the transforming and impactful present of the church in the world, we believe and have invested efforts through our pastors and leaders so that the HUB is indeed a great and powerful connection between the church and the society.

LINK GROUPS

Link Groups are groups of people that come together with the intention of staying together long term and “doing life together”. Our Link Groups form around twice a year bringing together people sharing similar stages of life or other common interest.

Link Groups go beyond Bible study time, or going deeper into specific books and studies to genuinely being involved in each other’s lives.

Studies and social activities are chosen by the people in the groups and relate to living out our faith. Link Groups meet at the church or in homes once a week or every other week.

These groups come together for a specific amount of time for the purpose of doing a short-term study together. Some studies are 4 weeks long, some 6 weeks, and some as many as 12 weeks. Various topics are explored in short term groups: marriage, spiritual gifts, books of the bible, women, stewardship, and other Christian life topics.

LOVING THE NEXT GEN

KIDS MINISTRY

Our vision is too love, care for and connect children in the love of Christ, through theoretical-practical, contextualized, joyful and creative teaching of the Word of God.

Our purpose in the Kids Ministry is teaching aimed at preparing children to have a relationship with God, and aiming to prepare them to connect other children to the Kingdom of God.

Harvest Field Church recognizes in Jesus’ words “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to those like them.” [Mt 19.14] the need to bring the child into a unique and vertical relationship with God, in a Father-son relationship.

SOCCER MINISTRY

Through youth and young adult soccer programs, many can come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, be plugged into a local church, and be discipled.

We set up soccer for the youth or young adults, run a soccer session, and then share a gospel message/pray at the end of the soccer session. We also equip volunteers and coaches to learn how to do soccer and discipleship to be able to be a guide and comfort for our team players.

MISSIONS & SERVING

We can say that HFC has a missionary DNA. The seed of missions was planted in the hearts of our pastors and founders, Carlos and Rose Silva, about three decades ago and has been for all these years.

Brazil, Colombia, USA and Guinea Bissau are the nations reached by this call. And let others come!

Our current efforts have also spilt over to help many homeowners severely affected by Hurricane Ian in our local area.

Beyond that, the missionary work developed in the USA has mainly reached the Brazilian immigrant community through all ministries established in our Headquarters Church in Fort Myers.

In Guinea Bissau we support 40 children in an Educational Project that offers material bread, spiritual bread and citizenship opportunities; in Brazil, our work has been in the planting of churches in the states of SP and Bahia, where we have seen the salvation and restitution of many lives.

We are grateful to God for all the Missions teams that have been working and praying and also for every contribution that makes missionary work possible.
